Dear 4-H Staff,
Distribution: this communication has been sent to the entire 4-H community on behalf of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC)
As the countdown to Provincial Show gets shorter, we want to address concerns expressed from our 4-H Community regarding the neighbouring NS Stampede event and how it will potentially affect our members’ and leaders’ experience at Pro Show 2024. We encourage you to continue to read the monthly Pro Show News, in detail, and refer to the Pro Show FAQ page for answers to many concerns being raised. 4-H NS staff continue to meet with the RECC staff and partners on a weekly basis to discuss the current status of each of the independent shows and site management. Please keep in mind, while 4-H Nova Scotia participates in these discussions, we are not at liberty to broadcast the RECC’s internal information regarding the NS Stampede until the information has been made public on their end.
As 4-H Nova Scotia staff, we want you to know that your concerns have been, and will continue to be heard, shared, and addressed throughout the planning process, as required. In response to the most recent and ongoing concerns surrounding the neighbouring event, Matt Moore, COO of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC) – organizer of the first inaugural NS Stampede, has written a response to the 4-H members directly addressing growing concerns heading into the final month.
