Dogs are a favourite pet for many youth, including 4-H members. The Dog project is based on Showmanship of the member’s registered animal for Achievement Day completion. For 4-H Nova Scotia Provincial Show, there are two classes available for members: Showmanship (top Junior and Senior Dog) and Dog Obedience (from Pre-Novice through to Open Sections). The skills developed in this project offer lifelong benefits for anyone interested in dog obedience.
