This project offers skill development for members of all ages. It feels very rewarding to be able to make clothing that you can wear with pride! In the Sewing project, each member is required to complete two items for Achievement Day. The article will be assessed based on age and experience. One of the items must be able to be modeled and a written commentary provided to describe the item for a fashion show. The project newsletter outlines seventeen sections in which the two articles can be placed. Field trips and group events can be planned to support hands-on learning.
