This project provides the opportunity to learn about the various sheep breeds and to gain confidence in working with this animal. The requirement for Achievement Day is showmanship and conformation classes are introduced as competitions at county level. The sheep conformation categories are as follows: Ewe Lamb Dorset; Ewe Lamb North Country Cheviot; Ewe Lamb Suffolk; Ewe Lamb Crossbred; Ram Lamb; Ewe Lamb Other – Purebred.
