Learning to weld provides members with the ability to build confidence in their abilities and to develop technical skills. In this project, members will be required to complete three articles chosen across seven specified sections: small decorative items; large decorative items; racks, signs and holders; utility items; specialty items; small plasma cut items and large plasma cut items. Each year in the project, members will further develop their skills. Projects will be assessed based on age and experience. Hands-on learning supports members in gaining enjoyment in a learned skill.
